How Vision Affects Learning
In all of the cases demonstrated in the above video, the child or adult more than likely has 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses. Because of this, a vision problem was never suspected. Also, especially with children, they do not understand that this is not how they should be seeing. They think that everyone sees this way. This can lead to the child feeling stupid and an increase in poor self-esteem issues. Many children are also labeled as behavior problems, learning disabled or just plain lazy and unmotivated. These issues have nothing to do with intelligence or how hard the child is trying; instead it is the inability to understand the visual information that is presented.
With proper diagnose and treatment at The Vision Improvement Program, the child or adult’s ability to process visual information and learn is drastically improved resulting in greater success in school, work and life.
